Hello and welcome! I’m Noémi Kovács, a passionate and skilled tattoo artist based in Bern, Switzerland. As a proud resident artist at Bern Tattoo Studio, I specialize in a wide range of tattoo styles, from black & grey realism, color realism, and lifelike animal portraits to fine line, abstract, watercolor, floral, mandala, sketchy, geometric, and blackwork tattoos. I also excel in cosmetic tattoos, including permanent makeup, as well as cover-up tattoos.

My goal is to blend your vision with my creativity to craft professional, meaningful artwork that reflects your personality and story.

My Journey to Becoming a Tattoo Artist

Originally from Hungary, I’ve always had a deep passion for art, animals, and exploring different cultures. After spending 12 years in Malta, where I opened my first beauty studio and tattoo shop, I embraced a life of creativity and adventure.

I was fortunate to travel the world as a tattoo artist, working in diverse studios, collaborating with other talented artists, and continually improving my craft. These experiences have shaped my artistic approach and given me a global perspective on tattoo artistry.

In 2021, I moved to Switzerland and worked in a Bern-based studio for 3.5 years before deciding to open my own studio. On June 10, 2024, I proudly opened Bern Tattoo Studio, my creative home where I bring clients’ ideas to life every day.

More Than Just a Tattoo Artist

While tattooing is my primary passion, I’m also skilled in other fields. I’ve worked as a:

• Animal portrait artist

• New media designer

• Semi-permanent makeup artist

• Eyebrow stylist

• Beauty therapist, makeup artist, and hairstylist

• Nutritionist

• Social media marketing manager

These diverse skills keep me motivated and continually inspire me to grow and evolve.

Outside of my work, I enjoy photography, modeling, and training. I’m also a former professional bodybuilder, having competed in IFBB bikini fitness and body fitness categories.

My Studio: Bern Tattoo Studio

My studio is a welcoming, open space designed for creativity and comfort. Unlike traditional tattoo studios with dark interiors, I’ve chosen a bright, transparent aesthetic. The studio features:

• A waiting room where you can relax, enjoy tea or coffee, and browse through books and folders filled with tattoo ideas.

• A working area dedicated to creating tattoos in a clean, professional, and distraction-free environment.

For your convenience, the studio also offers:

• A private toilet exclusively for clients.

• Free parking (just message me in advance).

• A mini-bar corner with snacks and beverages.
