Day 1
Get home safe, eat well and get plenty of rest. Your skin is healing, so please be mindful. You can sleep with the folia covering your tattoo. Noemi ensured it’s protected. Just make sure to remove and change the folia the next day in the morning.
If the folia moves, gets damaged, or if there’s excess liquid underneath, remove the plastic wrap and follow these instructions carefully.
1. Before you touch the tattooed area – wash your hands.
2. Rinse your tattoo with clean, lukewarm water.
3. Wash it with antibacterial soap or foam
4. Gently pat your tattoo dry with a clean paper towel
5. Apply thin layer of tattoo cream
6. Re-wrap your tattoo with plastic wrap.
7. Rest and relax.
Day 2
It’s essential to keep your tattooed skin clean and apply the tattooed skincare cream at least twice a day. Since your skin is still healing and sensitive, consider re-wrapping it. For optimal healing, it’s advisable to sleep with the folia on for 2-3 nights. Your dedication to proper aftercare is truly appreciated.
1. Before you touch the tattooed area – wash your hands.
2. Remove the plastic wrap
3. Rinse your tattoo with clean, lukewarm water.

From Day 3 onwards
Maintain a clean environment for your new tattoo, washing it regularly and applying tattooed skincare cream several times a day over the next 2 weeks.
After this period, feel free to use any normal moisturising body lotion. Continue with your normal life routine: gym, bath, swimming, tight clothes… And remember, always protect your tattoo with SPF 50 sunscreen when sunbathing. Your dedication to caring for your tattoo is truly commendable.

Remember
Getting a new tattoo involves breaking the skin surface so there is always a potential risk for infection to occur afterwards. Your tattoo should be treated as a wound initially. It is important that this advice is followed so that the infection risk can be minimised.
Your tattoo will consist of an area of tiny skin breaks, caused by the tattooing needles, so it should be kept covered. Dressing, applied by the artist can be removed afterwards for at least 3-5 hours. This dressing is only intended to get you home without the treated area catching on clothing, or being exposed to the air. The dressing will also help to stop bleeding/fluid oozing, but should be removed before it dries onto the treated area ( latest next day in the morning ). Remember, your tattoo is like a precious work of art, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. After 5-6 weeks, we invite you for a follow-up appointment where we can ensure your tattoo looks its best. This initial control / touch-up, essential for perfecting your tattoo after healing, is a complimentary service included in the original price. Your satisfaction is our priority.
Wishing you a smooth healing journey and a lifetime of enjoyment with your new ink! Thank Noémi Kovács

Your First Day with a Fresh Tattoo: What to Expect and How to Care for It
I’m here to guide you through your first day with your brand-new tattoo. Whether it’s your first piece or another addition to your collection, I know it can feel overwhelming to care for your tattoo when you’re home alone. But don’t worry—I’ve got you covered!
Before you leave the studio, I make sure you have everything you need, including detailed aftercare instructions and the right products. For first-time clients, we even practice the cleaning routine together at the studio so you’ll feel confident handling it at home.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you care for your fresh tattoo during those crucial first hours and days.
Your Tattoo Care Routine Starts Here
1. Wash Your Hands
Always begin by washing your hands thoroughly to ensure you’re not introducing bacteria to your fresh tattoo.
2. Remove the Bandage or Folia
If your tattoo is covered with kitchen folia (transparent wrap), carefully unwrap it. Remove the soaking pad and dispose of it in a garbage bag. Keep in mind that these materials may contain blood and excess plasma, so handle them carefully and empty your trash bin regularly to avoid unpleasant odors.
Don’t be alarmed if the soaking pad looks messy or your tattooed skin appears red and watery—this is completely normal. Underneath all that, your tattoo is safe and beautiful.
First Cleaning at Home
Once you’ve removed the bandage, it’s time to clean your tattoo:
1. Rinse with Water
Place the tattooed area under lukewarm running water to wash away any plasma, blood, or ointment residue.
2. Apply Antibacterial Soap
Use a gentle, antibacterial soap (foam is easiest to work with). Apply it to your tattoo in small, circular motions without scrubbing.
3. Rinse Thoroughly
Rinse away all soap and any remaining residue with water.
4. Pat Dry
Use a clean paper towel to gently pat the tattoo dry—avoid rubbing! Dispose of the paper towel in a sealed garbage bag.
Next Steps: Rebandaging or Second Skin
Once your tattoo is clean and dry, you have a few options for re-dressing the area.
Option 1: Kitchen Folia with Soaking Pad
• Apply a thin layer of tattoo cream over the tattoo.
• Place a fresh soaking pad over the area.
• Wrap the tattoo with new kitchen folia.
• You can leave this dressing on for up to 24 hours or change it after 12 hours.
Option 2: Kitchen Folia without Soaking Pad
• Wash your tattoo every 4 hours to remove excess plasma and fluids.
• Reapply the folia each time after drying the tattoo.
Option 3: Second Skin Folia with Soaking Pad
• Wait 10-20 minutes after washing to let your skin fully dry.
• Clean the area around your tattoo with an alcohol pad (avoid the tattoo itself).
• Apply a thin layer of tattoo cream to the tattoo.
• Place a soaking pad over the tattoo.
• Cover the entire area with second skin folia, ensuring all edges are sealed.
• Leave this dressing on for up to 24 hours.
Option 4: Second Skin Folia without Soaking Pad (3rd Dressing)
• Remove the soaking pad after the first 24 hours.
• Wash the tattoo, dry it thoroughly, and clean the surrounding area with an alcohol pad.
• Apply second skin folia directly over the tattoo, skipping the soaking pad this time.
• This dressing can stay on for several days if applied correctly.
Things to Remember
• It’s normal to feel a bit nervous about cleaning your tattoo, but with practice, it’ll become second nature.
• Always follow hygiene protocols—your hands, tools, and environment should be clean at all times.
